Kode With Klossy’s CODE-A-BRATION events are a free opportunity for young women and gender expansive teens, aged 13-18 to engage with key computer science, connect with their peers, and have fun along the way. Over the course of a single weekend, participants will learn to code a full project, present, hear from amazing mentors, play party games, and celebrate the power of code!

The impact of AI on climate change is a topic of growing interest, and the current thinking is divided into two main areas: AI as a tool to combat climate change and AI’s potential negative environmental impact. AI has significant potential to help mitigate climate change by improving efficiency, optimizing resources, and enabling better decision-making in key sectors. While AI has the potential to aid in climate change mitigation, there are concerns about its own carbon footprint and environmental consequences due to the increased demands on energy use and water consumption.
With support from the Deloitte Foundation, Kode With Klossy has created a coding challenge for YOU to explore the topic of how artificial intelligence (AI) will impact sustainability efforts and climate changes.

Kode With Klossy alumni can choose to participate in exclusive self-paced technical challenges to practice and sharpen their coding skills with practical applications. Kode With Klossy works with sponsoring partners to co-create custom challenges that reflect a real-world problem or opportunity of interest to the partner.
Challenges are designed to build on the coding skills learned in our 2-week and 2-day experiences. Challenges provide opportunities for project-based virtual mentorship for our alumni. Alumni connect with technical employees from our partner organization to get coaching and feedback during the challenge period.
